Facebook user Bethany Bermudez Romano took to social media and shared her unforgettable experience when President Rodrigo Duterte allow her to sit beside him.
Romano shared a selfie of her and the Philippine President on social media. The photo caught the attention of the online community.
In her Facebook post, Romano shared that President Duterte allowed her to sit beside him and to take a selfie during a public flight.

Romano also shared a video the humble President.
In the video, many people greeted him, shook hands with him, and even took photos with their phones as he acts like a normal passenger together with Christopher Bong Go.
The Philippine President waited for an extra hour just like the other normal passengers as their flight was delayed.
Romano posted the photo of her and the president on Facebook with a caption that reads: “Look who’s here in our regular flight! The President of the Republic of the Philippines! #DreamComeTrue #SulitAngDelay.”
Romano didn’t waste her time and grab the opportunity to ask the permission of the president for a selfie. She was in great surprise that the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte didn’t reject her and allowed her to sit beside him.
President Rodrigo Duterte is known for his down-to-earth attitude. In a previous report, the President said that he is comfortable of traveling from Manila-Davao flights than using expensive private jets as he hates VIP treatment.
Many social media users were quick to express their reactions on the viral Facebook post.
“Only tatay digong tunay na makamasa! Love uuu tatay digong..may God blessed and guide u in His spirit .. always take care po ..dami kming naniniwala at sumosuporta sayo,” netizen said.
“Very humble talaga ang president sa pinas mahal lahat ng tao,” Netizen said.
The video and the photo which were uploaded by Facebook user Bethany Bermudez Romano, now has thousands of views, likes and has been shared by netizens who were not only surprised but were also amazed with the attitude of the President.
The video was now widely circulating on the social media.
