Presidential sister Jocellyn Duterte aired out her disappointment with Madam Monsod.

Jocellyn Roa Duterte, the sister of Pres. Rodrigo ‘Digong’ Roa Duterte, expressed her disappointment with Madam Monsod in an open letter.

Recently, the presidential sister has spoken to certain issues involving her brother’s name. Based on a previous news report, Jocellyn has defended Pres. Duterte against Sen. Leila De Lima.

According to the report, the sister of Pres. Duterte claimed that the lady senator is the one ‘doing the killings’ as she emphasized in her social media post that in surviving an addiction to drugs, there is only a little chance once a person became a drug addict.

“When I look at you, I will not be surprised if you yourself is one!” Jocellyn said to Sen. De Lima. She added that she has already witnessed what drugs have done to other people.

“You are the one who is the killer, not Duterte,” the presidential sister said. The post of Jocellyn went viral on the social media and there are even netizens who expressed their support to the President.

Recently, the presidential sister has broken her silence and expressed her disappointment with Madam Monsod through an open letter posted on the social media.

According to the post on her Facebook account, Jocellyn was ‘terribly disappointed’ after she read the commentary of Madam Monsod whom she regarded as a public figure who is respected and credible.

“I was shocked and terribly disappointed that you of all people would put out a statement short of opposing the war on drugs!” the Presidential Sister said.

Furthermore, Jocellyn stated in her post her personal stand that the menace of drugs will ‘destroy this country’ and as well as the next generations.“Let us not make this a political issue,” she added.

The Presidential Sister stated that the people should be happy for having a president who will do everything he can ‘to save this country from a dangerous enemy’.

Moreover, Jocellyn stressed that a large amount of money is being used for the treatment of the drug patients which should have been utilized to help the less fortunate people and the marginalized sector.

The Presidential Sister ended her open letter with an encouragement of support to Pres. Duterte and the Philippines through education and the awareness about the addiction to drugs. She stated that the best start would be at home.

The post of Duterte has reached thirty-nine shares as of Tuesday. There are also netizens who agreed with the post of the presidential sister.
