Meanwhile, there are also netizens who utilize the platform to express concerns over certain matters or to call out an attention of respective authorities that could act on the issue.

Recently, one netizen has expressed her concern through a post in one of the social media giant, Facebook. Based on a recent news report in ABS-CBN News, netizen Barbie Yves Trinidad posted about her experience while she was riding a bus.

According to the report, Trinidad entailed in her post that around 3:00 in the afternoon on Sunday, she rode a bus bound for Mariveles. The attention of the commuter was caught by the behavior of the driver.

Trinidad detailed that the bus driver keeps on pressing the automobile’s horn and taking brakes in which she said that it visibly indicates that the bus driver is waking himself up.

Based on the post, the conductor and the commuters tried to check on the bus driver but he paid no heed to it.

The commuters were even asked by the bus driver to transfer to another bus when he got angry at one point in time according to the report. The viral post has already reached more than 22,000 shares as of Tuesday.

The netizen also posted a text message from the Genesis Transport Services. In the caption, Trinidad thanked the marketing manager, Loren Espiritu, of the transport service.

Based on the post, the Genesis Transport service sincerely apologized for the incident that happened on the 16th of December. It also contend that the bus driver has already been temporarily relieved from his job while an investigation is being conducted.

The transport service also expressed an assurance that the issue ‘will be dealt with utmost importance and urgency’ and that their first priority is the safety of their passengers.
