Filipino-American Community leader Loida Nicolas-Lewis took to Facebook and denied the accusations on forced ouster Duterte issue.

The Philippine President was known for being active in his campaign to stop illegal drugs in the country. He has promised the Filipino people that he will resign if he fails to end the drug problem in the country within six months.

Because of this promise, Filipino-American Community leader Loida Nicolas-Lewis, is now asking the President to step down.

Loida Nicolas-Lewis became the center of the controversies in the Philippines after she showed up to the media and asked the Philippine President to resign.

In a previous report, the Philippine President has previously accused Lewis of plotting the ouster of Duterte. She has remained silent despite it, but now, has chosen to come out in the open.

She declared during an interview with ABS-CBN that she does not have any intention of plotting a coup against the President even though she is calling for his resignation.

“No, President Duterte, I have not plotted against you in terms of coup d’etat, because I believe in the democratic process,” said Lewis.

However, on her Facebook page, Lewis is open to the public for asking Duterte to resign for his position as the President of the Philippines and to hold true to his promise of resigning after 6 months.

In her Lengthy Facebook post, She denied the accusations that she is not supporting calls for President Rodrigo Duterte’s ouster from the office.

“I do not support any calls for his *forced* ouster. Naniniwala ako na ang kabutihan ay laging mananaig sa huli.” Lewis wrote.

She pointed out that education and economy is what we need to win the fight on illegal drugs.
