VP Leni Robredo’s Most Hardworking Claim Slammed By Binay’s Camp

Former Vice President Jejomar Binay’s camp slams Vice President Leni Robredo for claiming that she’s the most hardworking HUDCC chairman.

Recently, Leni Robredo showed her accomplishments and claimed that she’s the most hardworking chairman of Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC).

On Monday (December 05, 2016), during a news conference, Robredo submitted her resignation from being HUDCC chairman. She also claimed that she’s the only chief who personally attends board meetings and still works during weekends and at home.

Hardworking

Robredo said that even some Cabinet members don’t like her, they would still say that the vice president performs her duty in a hardworking manner for showing how she’d fight for the housing issues.

“Even if you ask all the housing agencies, I’m probably the only HUDCC [head]who personally attends all board meetings. I’m the HUDCC [chief]who spends most workdays holding office there,” said by Robredo quoted by Manila times.

Leni’s most hardworking claim was slammed by Joey Salgado, Binay’s spokesman. Salgado called “quite and self-serving” because Robredo boasts her accomplishments and portray herself as the most hardworking HUDCC chief, even she’s serving for only five months on the position.

Salgado said that he can’t speak for the former HUDCC chairman but Robredo should discover the work ethics of Binay. From the year 2010 to 2015 Binay served as HUDCC chairman for five years, it is the same position held by Noli de Castro, his predecessor.

Former HUDCC heads also served the agency longer than Robredo and accomplished a lot of projects compared to her. Salgado also pointed out former HUDCC chief also undergoes different circumstances during their term.

Earlier, Vice President Robredo received a text message from Cabinet Secretary Jun Evasco Jr. prohibiting her from attending all Cabinet meetings as instructed by President Rodrigo Duterte.

  1. Ms. Robredo, I believe that you would find your true calling in life by doing toothpaste ads instead of meddling with the serious job of running the affairs of the country.
