Largest Christmas Cake in the world arrives in Germany.

World’s Largest Christmas cake was carried to Dresden Christmas market on a horse-drawn carriage last Saturday.

Germans celebrate their Christmas with the giant cake and that weighs more than 2800 kilograms (6,100 pounds).

The sweetest day of the year was recorded in the German city of Dresden as it celebrated the start of the Christmas season by parading a giant cake in the streets.  It also happens to be the largest Christmas cake in the world.

A Stollen is a loaf-shaped cake containing dried fruit and covered with sugar, powdered sugar or icing. The cake is usually made with chopped candied fruit and/or dried fruit, nuts and spices.

Stollen is a traditional German cake, usually eaten during the Christmas season.

According to a report of GMA news, the world’s Largest Christmas cake was baked by more than 60 bakers.

It took more than 60 bakers a week to stirred, baked and layered it for one week. The Bakers revealed that they used more than a ton of flour, 675 kg of butter, 180 kg of sugar and 1.35 million sultanas.

Thousands of Germans in Dresden are celebrating the sweetest day of the year.

They are getting to celebrate Christmas with a giant cake that weighs more than 2800 kilograms.

Many of the tourist visits the Germany just to get a slice of the famous Traditional cke of Dresden.

According to a Visitor Christian Berger, who came all the way from Berlin to witnessed the festival and to get a slice of the cake said that There’s no stollen in Berlin that can compare.

“It is definitely worth the crowding and the pushing, because it is really delicious,” He said.
