Tables have turned: Facebook suspended the account of Mocha Uson petitioner.
Facebook deactivates the account of the Netizen Paul Quilet who seeks the petition to suspend the account of Mocha Uson.
He created the petition on Change.org, he described Mocha Uson as a “Filipino entertainer-turned-Duterte die-hard supporter” who he said that the page allegedly spreads “fictitious/unsupported claims, fake news, and false information” about relevant issues in the Philippines.
With Uson’s influential social media page, according to Quilet, It widens the gap between Duterte supporters and his critics.
But in an ironic twist of events, Facebook suspended his account.
“My Facebook account has been reported. I have requested Facebook to have it reactivated ASAP,” Quilet shared.
Nevertheless, what happened is the reverse. As Quilet’s petition earned criticisms from netizens who claimed that his action infringes Uson’s freedom of speech.
