Destroying 10, 000 Narcotics Networks Plan Of Duterte, Supported By Senators
President Duterte admitted he couldn’t abolish illegal drugs alone, so he calls to help destroy 10, 000 narcotics networks that were supported by senators.
The steps that the president wants to Congress would be discussed seeks an audience to gain support for his campaign, according to Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III. Pimentel told the reporters that he will talk to Duterte find out the legislative intervention he wants.
The supermajority of allied workers rules the legislature in both houses of Congress that give President Duterte an overwhelming support. Sen. Panfilo Lacson, chair of the Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs said that he supports Duterte’s advocacy in fighting illegal drugs.
Duterte’s move to reach out Congress were welcomed by Senate Majority Leader Vicente Sotto III and Minority Leader Ralph Recto. Sotto said that they are willing to give the president a 100 percent cooperation.
