DSWD Sec. Explains: ‘Nakitang may sapat na pondo ang gobyerno at mga ahensya nito’

DSWD Sec. Taguiwalo explained in social media about the issue on having no foreign aid for the typhoon victims.

DSWD SEC – The secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development explained through a social media post the reason of the government for not seeking foreign assistance for the typhoon victims.

For several years already, whenever the Philippines will be struck by super typhoons or other natural calamities, the assistance from the international community follows right away. Large amounts were donated for relief of the victims.

Recently, two typhoons, Karen and Lawin, had visited the country and made a mark on the history of the Philippines as they left some parts of the Philippines greatly destructed.
