CPP warns Pres. Duterte on the possible shifting of the country’s alliance.
CPP WARNS – The Communist Party of the Philippines recently exposed warnings to Pres. Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte on shifting the country’s alliance with United States into China.
The talks on the Philippines’ shifting of alliance has been alive for quite long already. It started out when the President has been vocal on how he sees United States. Recently, tirades to the foreign country and its President, Barack Obama, were also thrown by Pres. Rody.
Since then, the possibility of the shifting of alliance has been on the surface. The warm welcome of the China to Pres. Duterte in his recent state visit has also sparked the revival of the China-PH relationship – the possible alliance to replace the current.
Recently, previous report entailed the United State’s desire for an explanation from the Philippines after Pres. Duterte announced the ‘separation’ from United States in front of Chinese and Filipino businessmen.
