Patrol Car Driver, 8 MPD Officers Relieved From Post – NCRPO Chief Confirms

The NCRPO Chief has recently confirmed the removal from post of the nine MPD officers including the patrol car driver.

PATROL CAR – Chief Supt. Oscar Albayalde, Chief of National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), recently confirmed in a text message to one news organization the relief from posts of 9 members of the Manila Police District.

Everyone was surprised on the result of the coming of the rallyists at the United States Embassy. None expected that it would lead to a worst scenario leaving some of the rallyists in pain.

Taking both sides in the matter, the Manila Police District Deputy Director for Operations Sr. Supt. Marcelino Pedrozo denied the order of dispersal in the incident as stated in a previous report.

On the other side, one rallyist,  Amirah Lidasan, secretary-general of Moro-Christian People’s Alliance, pushed in a statement released by Sandugo that it was Pedrozo who ordered the use of the vehicle rammed against the people.
