WATCH OUT: The Walking Dead Season 8 is Renewed

Before the season 7 of The Walking Dead has even started, the fans can get more excited on the series after it was announced that the season 8 is renewed.

The AMC confirmed that The Walking Dead season 7 won’t be the last in the series. This is even before it’s even it was launched.

According to AMC, the show will premiere in late 2017, after it has been renewed. It will be starting with the 100th episode of the series.

The Walking Dead season 7 kicks off this Sunday, October 23 at 9/8c.

“Eeny, meeny, miny, more,” said president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios Charlie Collier.

“What a joy to partner with Robert Kirkman, Scott M Gimple and some of the hardest-working people in television to bring The Walking Dead to the fans,” Collier added.

“And, most important, thanks to those fans for breathing life into this remarkable series right along with us,” he said.

Who is coming back at The Walking Dead season 7 cast?

In July, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and three other cast members – Austin Amelio (Dwight), Tom Payne (Jesus) and Xander Berkeley (Gregory) – were promoted to series regular status.

Meaning, the series now has a larger regular cast than at any previous point in its history – with 20 actors signed up to regular contracts.

The cast of The Walking Dead Season 7 include Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Chandler Riggs (Carl), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Melissa McBride (Carol), Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) and Lennie James (Morgan).

Fans can also expect the appearance of Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Alanna Masterson (Tara), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Austin Nichols (Spencer), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), Tom Payne (Jesus), Austin Amelio (Dwight) and Xander Berkeley (Gregory).

Aside from The Walking Dead, Talking Dead is also renewed by AMC, with 16 more episodes of the live after-show discussion hosted by Chris Hardwick.

“I can tell you from the position of the director’s chair, it was by far the most emotional episode that I’ve ever shot,” Greg Nicotero has promised of the comeback episode.
