No Chinese Reclamation Activities Showed At The Disputed Shoal, Philippine Navy Says

Philippine Navy visits Scarborough Shoal or Bajo De Mansiloc and announced that there are no Chinese reclamation activities in the area.

On Monday (October 17, 2016), Defense Undersecretary Eduardo Del Rosario said that upon the visitation of Philippine Navy to the disputed waters, they saw four Chinese Coast Guard Ships and two fishing vessels in the area but denies any reclamation at the shoal in Zambales on September 18, 2016, according to Governor Ebdane.

Hermogenes Abdane is the former governor of Zambales that were accused of selling two mountains of the province near Scarborough that supposed to build a 3, 500 –hectares of Chinese island, but Ebdane denied the allegations against him at the hearing.

The former governor said that he have no authority on selling those properties and the Philippine Air Force can confirm the accuracy of his statement. He also said that there’s no Chinese reclamation activity happened in the disputed shoal.
