After decades of living a political life, Aquino savors the break from the government and is now enjoying the luxury of time as a private person.
Former President Benigno Simeon Aquino III is enjoying the first three months of his private life by reading books, watching old films and listening to good music.
But if he was not provoked to comment on current developments during his guesting at an informal forum at at St. Theresa’s College in Quezon City on September 23, Friday night, Aquino shared a little about his heart status.
Aquino said, “I used to ask people who has successful relationships, how do you know (who to marry)? They keep on saying, ‘You’ll know’. No that is why I’m asking, how will you know? ‘You’ll know’. At this age, I am quite surprised that those who said ‘you’ll know’ are the ones who have solid relationships, those who try to characterize it are the ones who fell out of it”.
But 15th President of the Philippines said he could not be blamed as he did try as early as 18 years old to fight “the one” and also proposed to a former girlfriend but it “did not work out” and so he would just have to wait.
