According to the report, Herbert Colangco was one of the high-profile inmates who will testify on Tuesday against the former Justice Secretary on her alleged involvement in the illegal drugs trade in the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).

The report added that the Department of Justice has 10 to 12 convicted drug personalities, together with officials and agents of the National Bureau of Investigation who will act as witnesses against De Lima in the probe on alleged illegal drug trade in the NBP during her former post to be done by the House.

A clarification will also be made by a former NBI Deputy Director in the name of Rafael Ragos, who served as the officer-in-charge of the Bureau of Corrections, regarding the P5 million he allegedly gave to De Lima.

“‘Yung P5 million na ‘yun, dinala ‘yun sa bahay niya sa Parañaque… Mismong si de Lima (tumanggap) although present din si Ronnie Dayan,” Ragos said.

Ronnie Dayan was De Lima’s driver and was said to have a romantic connection with her.

The report added that Aguirre stated that the said system began in 2013 for the former Justice Secretary’s campaign for a senatorial race. It added that the production of illegal drugs in the NBP increase after the system happened.

Meanwhile, De Lima denied the allegations saying that the testimonies and evidences were not true.
