Boy Abunda has recently aired out his side on drug tests for celebrities.
BOY ABUNDA – Recognizing the current battle that the government is undergoing, Kapamilya TV host and talent manager Boy Abunda aired out his stand if ever there would be a drug test requirement for celebrities.
The goal to eradicate the presence of drugs in the country has captured great focus from the Duterte administration and the Philippine National Police. Currently, Pres. Duterte and PNP Chief Director Gen. Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa are visibly taking the lead to meet the goal.
In a recent entertainment news report in ABS-CBN News, an idea of requiring drug test for celebrities came on the surface and Boy Abunda expressed his side on it during the TechnoMarine watches’ endorsement.
Based on the report, Boy Abunda recognizes that all should be fair in the campaign against drugs, “Tayo’y dapat tignan bilang mamamayan. Kung ito ay ginagawa sa iba’t ibang sektor ng lipunan… Why would we expect special treatment?”
[We should be regarded as citizens. If it is done in the other sectors of the society… Why would we expect special treatment?]
