Ai Ai delas Alas posted on Instagram showing her pride for her boyfriend who graduates from college
Comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas expressed her gratitude and pride for her 22-year-old boyfriend, Gerald Sibayan, as he finished his college.
Ai Ai and Sibayan are having the relationship for more than two years already, after his sudden break-up on her husband, three years ago.
In her Instagram account on Wednesday, the 51-year-old comedienne shared a post from Sibayan’s page, announcing that his boyfriend has earned a degree in Sports Management from the De La Salle University, where he is a part of the badminton team of the university.
In the caption, the movie star wrote, “I want to congratulate you, not just because you achieved your goals, but because of how you became a man with dignity and integrity,” the former “Tanging Ina”.
Delas Alas also added: “Tumaas ang respeto ko sa iyo lalo kasi puwede ka namang magtamad tamaran at mag-Counter Strike mag-hapon pero inilaban mo na araw araw gumising ng maaga at suungin ang traffic at baha papuntang maynila galing sa Quezon City.”
“Dahil gusto mong mag-aral, gusto mong makatapos at gusto mong matupad ang pangarap mo at pangarap kong makatapos ka at maipag malaki kita sa buong mundo.”
“And now I want to say to the whole world: I am so proud of you darling. Congratulations! Naluluha ako sa kaligayahan …They just know your name but not your story. I love you so much. To God be the glory,” she concluded her post.
September 2014, Delas Alas first revealed her relationship with Sibayan, more than a year after she confirmed her divorce from her businessman husband Jed Salang. Delas Alas married Salang in Las Vegas on April 2013, but she broke the news telling she separated from Sibayan after less than a month after she accused him of physical abuse.
In her previous relationships, Delas Alas has two children now, with former partner Miguel Vera — Nicolo and Sofia. She also has a son, Sancho, from a relationship before Vera.
On April 12, the couple revealed their happy second anniversary where Gerald described the Queen of Comedy as his “life, hope, inspiration [and] everything.”
