Online renewal of driver’s license and car registration pushes by lawmakers during the six-year term of President Rodrigo Duterte.
As the president instruct on his first day of duty in office, also House Deputy Majority Leader and Cebu Rep. Gerald Anthony Gullas said that the Land Transportation Office (LTO) should adopt the appropriate information technology to expedite the delivery of services.
“We are counting on the LTO to live up to the President’s wish, which is actually everybody’s wish, for all agencies to avoid unnecessarily aggravating the transacting public and to expedite the delivery of services,” said by Gullas quoted by GMA.
Using technology, performing transactions like renewal, application for a license, and car registration is a new process that should be implied for the LTO was left far behind noted by Gullas.
