PAGASA Confirms: Typhoon “Dindo” Has Entered The Philippine Area Of Responsibility

Typhoon Dindo (International name: Lionrock) has entered the Philippine area of responsibility.

Typhoon Dindo (International name: Lionrock) has entered the Philippine area of responsibility that with maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph.

According to a news report of The Philstar, PAGASA announced the confirmation  of the report on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, that the typhoon has entered the Philippines.

The PAGASA rely on the information to warn the people for the typhoon that it was expected to bring and estimated moderate to heavy rainfall amount within the 500 km diameter of the Typhoon.

Furthermore, PAGASA said that at 12:00 noon, Dindo’s eye was traced 1,200 kilometers East Northeast of Itbayan, Batanes.

“The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next weather bulletin to be issued at 11 PM today,” PAGASA said in its advisory.
