Indian Man Successfully Cut a Part of Mountain for 22 Years

Indian man successfully cut a part of a mountain after 22 years of effort using chisel and hammer.

Dashrath Manjhi, an Indian man spent 22 years of his life making a massive gap in the mountain. After her wife, Falguni died in 1959 because she couldn’t get to the nearest hospital 34 miles away because the nearest town was too far. So he decided to make a massive cut to cut a through it.

Due to his concern for other villagers that he didn’t want to suffer the same situation. Their location was 55 kilometers away from the nearest town. His wife died for needing   urgent medical care but she was not able to bring on the hospital because of the distance.

Cutting a path through rocks using only a hammer and chisel to reduce the distance by 15 kilometers over day and night on the mountain of Gehlour in eastern Bihar. 110 meters or 360 feet and 9 meters wide in some place. Manjhi was able to create a path that he started in 1982.
