VIRAL: Noodle Stall Garners Its First Michelin Star, HK

Noodle stall in Hong Kong got a Michelin Star.

Noodle Stall based in Hong Kong was awarded with a Michelin Star. The first star signifies a ‘high-quality cooking’ to the noodle stall which is often flooded by customers.

A report in Inquirer stated the giving of one Michelin Star to Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle which is owned and personally managed by Chan Hong Meng.

The report further stated that after the giving of the Michelin Star, customers’ line in front of the noodle stall comprised of 40 people who wanted to order Meng’s specialty.

The Straits Times also uploaded a video of the owner and chef of  Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle’s in Facebook as he is preparing the appetizing dish.

Hong Meng’s video in social media gained a lot of commentaries from the FB netizens.

Jereme Lim commented that Meng got one of the world’s renowned food accolades and you could really see in the man his passion in feeding people with good food.

Kaz Mas addressed a message to a friend, Nico Thornley, that when their family would be in Singapore, they will take them in Meng’s noodle stall.
