PAL was forced to have an emergency landing back to NAIA.

PAL flight makes an emergency landing back to NAIA. The flight was forced to go back due to the smoke and fire that were detected on the main landing gear of the aircraft.

According to a report, at around 2 p.m. on Friday, Pal flight PR 720 took off from the NAIA for Heathrow Airport. The flight was forced to return and make an emergency landing at Ninoy Aquino International Aquino Airport.

The flight was bound for London from the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) operations division.

According to Engineer Octavio Lina, Assistatant general manager for operations of Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said to an interview, the London-bound Philippine Airlines (PAL) was headed by captain Miguel Ben Gomez and was carrying 155 passengers and 15 flight crews.
