After the much-anticipated bout in the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) Fight Night between Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos, many have been asking if the said bout was scripted.

Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos were known actors and have had a rift between each other ending to an MMA match hosted by URCC.

With the exhibition match ended with a draw, stories come up saying that the said match is just scripted. During the first round, Matos got the upper hand but, Geisler changed the game and fought back.

The supposed three-round bout was stopped as the fighters “cannot” continue anymore. Then, the judge scored  the bout 19 all.

Baron Geisler then reacted insisting that the match was true.

“How I wish it was, but no it’s not,” said Geisler.

In a report in ABS-CBN, Geisler even showed the bruises he gained from the said bout.

“Nakita mo naman… is this scripted? Is that scripted, ‘Yung mga bugbog? No, it’s not… May mga bugbog pa ko sa likod,” [You’ve seen it…Is this scripted? Is that scripted, The bruises? No its not… I still have bruises on my back.]

According to Geisler, their rift was true and it ended during the bout.

Geisler added that he even talked with Matos on the telephone saying that they are already friends and their differences, settled

The controversial actor was then asked about what can he say about the rumors that Matos ‘allegedly’ received P100,000 purse after the fight.

Geisler answered saying that he doesn’t know as he hasn’t read Matos’ contract. He added that if ever it’s true, it would be more than enough as professional MMA fighters are get paid P50,000 up.

When asked if he will be doing MMA again, Baron said that he won’t because of the hardship during training and will just be focusing on acting.

According to Baron, “it’s not a joke.”
