Baron-Kiko Bout Made People Interested In MMA

Baron-Kiko – Many people have flocked over the much-awaited Baron-Kiko exhibition match last June 25, at the Valkyrie Club in Bonifacio Global City.

The said exhibition match had gained curiosity among many people on how would the two actors would do inside the steel cage.

The Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) Fight Night main event was for the light heavyweight title match between Chris Hoffman and Arvin Chan.

But, according to a report by ABS-CBN, people have flocked the Valkyrie Club because of they wanted to see Baron and Kiko together inside the cage.

According to Hoffman, it was alright. “Of course, it helped me a lot to showcase my skills to people who are not watching MMA,” said Hoffman of DEFTAC as quoted in the report.

But, Hoffman, who stopped Chan in the second round, said that the exhibition match like the one done by Baron and Kiko should not be “overdone”.

Hoffman said that it is good “once in a while but, not all the time.”

He added that such exhibition match could not “differentiate URCC from other fighting promotions like Bellator or WWE.

The report said that the organizers have decided to put the Baron-Kiko match at the end of the main event as people are interested in seeing the match.

The said exhibition match started as per invitation of URCC founder Alvin Aguilar to the two controversial actors, Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos to just settle their differences inside the cage.

The feud between Baron and Kiko started in a brawl inside a bar in Quezon City during a fundraising concert. The attention of people was drawn after a video was posted on social media.
