International singing sensation Charice Pempengco made headlines earlier for her successful cover photo appearance in one of the country’s most popular men’s magazine. Charice became the first lesbian to be featured in a men’s magazine in the country but what most netizens were discussing about is her resemblance with Sandro Marcos, the son of vice presidential bet Sen. Bongbong Marcos.
When Charice posted the magazine cover photo of herself on social media particularly on her official Twitter account, Sandro Marcos sent his congratulatory remarks and finally reacted to the comparison given by some netizens on social media.
Sandro Marcos sent a message to Charice by saying “So apparently we look alike!! Haha respect and more success to you . ”
The former YouTube sensation turned international recording artist Charice on her part, mentioned in previous interviews with the Kapamilya Channel, ABS-CBN News that she already knew that she was being compared to Sandro Marcos. She was quoted as saying “So when I saw all these comments about Sandro, I knew it was coming. Although hindi ako nagfi-feeling,” she told ABS-CBN News.
Charice admitted to the public that she is a lesbian during the year 2013 despite being known worldwide as a teen superstar because of extra-ordinary singing abilities. She was even dubbed by international TV host Oprah Winfrey as “the most talented girl in the world.” The Filipina singing sensation released her first international studio album “Charice” in 2010.
Meanwhile, Sandro Marcos is the oldest son of Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos and his wife Louise Araneta. He was born on March 7, 1994 and lived in the United Kingdom during his earlier years. Mar Roxas is his tito, because Mar and Louise are cousins while the son of Mar Roxas, Paolo Roxas is his second cousin.
