The little girl in the viral photo was actually the 5-year-old Chloe Chenevert. Chloe was there in a restaurant together with her father named Jared and her sister named Clarke. Then, the two Marshals from the Cedar Hill Police Department named Leland Herron and Jack Wallace came to eat at the other table.

According to the officers, they had seen and then gave both the two girls a small Junior Marshal sticker each that they used to give out to children.

With their surprise, Chloe went to their table and asked if she could pray with and for both of them.

The officers said that they had never experienced something before.

“She prayed for our food and prayed for our safety,” Herron said.

“I’m sure she asked her parents if she could come over and pray with us. Her dad got up and snapped a photo with his cell phone. It wasn’t posed. It wasn’t staged. It’s just one of those magic moments,” he added.

The heartfelt photo was then posted on the Facebook page of Cedar Hill Police Department with the description, saying:

*** A Little Girl’s Prayer ***

Today, while eating lunch, 5 year old, Chloe, approached Cedar Hill Marshal’s Herron and Wallace and asked them if she could pray with them.

Marshals Herron and Wallace admit they’ve never had anyone pray with them and that her prayer was so beautiful.

Her dad captured this photo of her praying with the officers and sent it to us. Our thanks to him for sharing this act of compassion with us.

Then Jared also commented on the post on Facebook thanking the “wonderful comments” about her daughter, Chloe.

He even thanked the officers, saying, “The real thanks goes to the officers, who took the time out of their busy day to bless our daughters.”
