Pres. Duterte Impressed with the List of NDFP List of Cabinet Members

The presumptive president of the Republic of the Philippines, Pres. Duterte was so impressed with the list given by the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) which was submitted by the communists party invited by Mayor Rody Duterte. The incoming president revealed that he considered appointing four women from the list given by NDFP.

Based upon the list submitted by Communists Party, there were 10 people on the list and four of them were women but Mayor Duterte did not reveal the names of the four women in list given by the Left.

A source told the Inquirer that former University of the Philippines professor Judy Taguiwalo was on the list, as well as former Anakpawis Rep. Rafael Mariano, Bayan Muna Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate and former Solicitor General Silvestre Bello III.

Some sources also revealed that the Bayan Muna Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate backed out from the list but he would be replaced by a more well-known personality, former senatorial candidate and Bayan Muna Rep. Teodoro Casiño.

Rep. Teddy Casiño was one of the most impressive politician among the list given by NDFP. He served in the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2013. He advocated the lowering of prices of electricity, oil and water as well as regulation in the price of education, healthcare, mobile communications, tolls and other utilities and services.

During the past few days after Mayor Duterte was considered as the sure winner of the presidential elections, he invited the members of the Communists Party of the Philippines to join his government and they were even invited for a total of four Cabinet posts under the Duterte administration.

According to Mayor Duterte, the four departments he could give up and will be given to the Communists are the Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Agrarian Reform and two other important departments under the Office of the President.
