Davao City Police Expects 100,000 Revelers to Attend Duterte Victory Party

The Davao City Police are expecting for more than 100,000 merrymakers and revelers in the highly anticipated Victory Party of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte which will be held at the Crocodile Park in Davao City this coming June 4, 2016.

Chief Supt. Manuel GaerlanPNP Region 11 Director Chief Supt. Manuel Gaerlan said that the victory party of Mayor Duterte will start at around 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM but they encourage all who plans to attend the event to come as early as 6:00 AM because the PNP will be having a very strict security measures during the said event.

According to the organizers of the victory party for Mayor Rody Duterte, there will be celebrities who will entertain the people before the arrival of the VIPs which includes the President of the Republic of the Philippines, Pres. Rody Duterte. The Davao City Police are now doing their best as part of their security preparations.

Chief Supt. Gaerlan also stated during a press conference on Tuesday that they have not received information about any security threat for the event organized by the volunteers and supporters of the presumptive president of the Republic.

The exact details and complete itineraries of Pres. Rody Duterte, such as the time of his arrival in the victory party, are still being ironed out by the organizers. The PNP Davao also seeks the cooperation of all the peopole and be vigilant in securing the President during the said event.

Pres. Rody Duterte, who served for seven terms as the mayor of this city, is set to become the Philippines’ 16th president. He is the first chief executive from the island of Mindanao.
