Angelica Panganiban recalls breakup moments with John Lloyd Cruz.
Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban went emotional as she recalled her break-up with multi-awarded actor John Lloyd Cruz during her guest appearance at the late night entertainment show “Gandang Gabi Vice.”
The “Banana Sundae” star admitted that she has not fully recovered from the breakup, saying that she is still looking at their photos on her Instagram account.
Asked if she still go to places where they previously visited, Panganiban remembered the time when she made a stop over at Hongkong where a lot of memories flashbacked.
“Nung una hindi talaga. Kasi nag-Bali ako tapos may stopover na Hongkong… ‘Pag labas ko pa lang bigla akong parang nilamon ako, umiiyak talaga akong mag-isa, tapos natatawa ako, tapos umiiyak ako habang naglalakad. Tapos umupo na’ko, tapos tumatawa na ako, sabi ko grabe para akong tanga. Tama na, tama na,” she said.
Panganiban said that she met with Cruz in Hongkong during Holy Week since the actor was also there with his friends. She added that she has to control herself not to cry.
The 29-year-old actress also admitted that they are still texting. However, she clarified that they are just friends.
Panganiban said that after their break up she was really down, but she told herself to stand up and carry on. She also said that she did not open up to her closest friends and family after their spit.
Cruz confirmed his relationship with Angelica on September 2012. He was also the one who admitted their break up on January this year, following rumors of their split.
