Robredo Leads Latest Pulse Asia Survey In VP Bets

Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo overtakes Sen. Bong-Bong Marcos In Latest VP Poll

Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo overtakes Sen. Bong-Bong Marcos at the top of the vice-presidential bets in the survey by Pulse Asia Research for ABS-CBN from April 26 to 29.

Robredo was now at the top of the poll having a rating of 30 percent which is two points ahead of the of Sen. Marcos’ rating.

According to ABS-CBN, the poll was done to 4,000 registered voters having a margin of error of ±1.5 percent.

Marcos now has 28 percent, falling down three points from the previous survey. Meanwhile, Senator Francis Escudero has 18 percent and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano had 15 percent. The two didn’t change in their positions.

Senators Antonio Trillanes IV and Gringo Honasan had 3 percent and 2 percent in the survey.

However, there is a four percent of the total voters were undecided.

According to ABS-CBN, the survey has been performed in both urban and rural respondents, from people aged 18 years old and above. All the participants are registered voters with biometrics.

During the survey, the participants were asked a vice-president using a sample ballot together with a list of the candidates as if the elections were held during the survey dates.

Liberal Party vice-presidential candidate Leni Robredo expressed her gratefulness from the results.

“We are grateful that we have finally topped the Pulse Asia survey with a few days to go before elections,” she said as quoted in GMA News.
