Japan To Lease Military Aircraft

Japan Leases Military Aircraft To The Philipines

Japan agrees to lease military aircraft to the country to help fight China’s forces.

Japan

The union happened yesterday afternoon through phone calls between Minister General Nakatani, Defence Minister of the country and Mr. Voltaire Gazmin, his Philippine counterpart.

Tensions between China and the Philippines started several years ago because of claiming over one area that is a boundary between the countries and China’s forces starting to strengthen as they began construction making it their territory.

And good news for the Philippines because countries like Japan is willing to support by exporting their military aircrafts – being the first time to lease to another country.

Nakatani told the reporters, “we agreed that it is important for all the countries in the region to strengthen cooperation in order to maintain peace and stability of the South China Sea.”

“We believe that improving the Philippines’ capability will lead to stability in the region”.

Kyodo News said that the military aircraft’s flying capacity is about double the range of the Philippines’ navy air craft.

They have been the Philippines World War II rival but time heals and it is time for them to strengthen their ties with each other, and this time, now.

But aside from the Philippines, Brunei, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Vietnam, are also claiming over the contested waterways of South China Sea.

A warship from Japan sailed last March near the disputed waters of South China as Tokyo, Japan agreed last February to provide Manila with military equipment, that may include radar-tech items and anti-submarine aircraft.

We all hope for the best for our country right? And it always good to know other countries help out each other.
