Did Enrique Gil touch Liza Soberano’s breast?
Enrique Gil has issued a statement regarding a viral “touchy” photo with his on-screen partner Liza Soberano.
Just recently, the two of the hottest stars in the country made rounds online over a photo which shows Enrique Gil allegedly touching the breast of Liza Soberano.
The photo which was posted on various social media platforms has been flooded with reactions with some accusing the actor to have oppressed the situation.
“Nakita ko nga, sabi ko, wala naman ‘yan. Siyempre inalalayan ko lang,” the 24-year-old Kapamilya actor said in an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal.
“It may look like that from that angle, na mukhang hinawakan ko, pero I don’t remember ever doing that,” he added.
According to Enrique Gil, Liza Soberano was the one who first showed the viral “touchy” photo to him.
“Yeah nakita ko nga, e… ‘Ay, ano ‘yan?’ sabi ko,” the Dolce Amore star said. “Wala, pati nga siya, hindi niya alam yun, e, sabi niya,” he further added.
Enrique Gil recalled during the interview that it was taken at University of Sto. Tomas while shooting ABS-CBN May elections station ID.
Fans of the actor defended him over the viral photo. Some netizens shared a different angle of the picture.
In this angle, it shows Enrique Gil’s hand placed in front of Liza’s upper body and not actually touching it. It can be seen that they’re surrounded by many people, which might prodded him to protect her.
