Presidential candidate Sen. Grace Poe came under fire from her bashers and concerned netizens after a photo of her son, Brian Llamanzares caught the attentions of netizens for flaunting an expensive shoes on his official social media account.
Brian Poe Llamanzares, the son of presidential aspirant Sen. Grace Poe posted a very expensive limited edition of the 2011 Nike Mag10 Back to the Future II Marty McFly 2015 which cost a whooping $19,000 dollars. Based upon estimates the shoe costs around P839,000 pesos if converted to Philippine money or $1:47 peso exchange rate.
The controversial caught the attentions of non-Grace Poe supporters, some of them even noted that the son of Sen. Grace Poe showcased how wealthy they are which is contrary to the image of his mother which is pro-poor. One of the netizens even noted that, what will happen if her mother become the president, he could even buy a more expensive shoes compared to what he displayed on social media recently.
Sen. Grace Poe came to the rescue with her son and reminded reporters during an interview with Inquirer that her son can afford to buy the shoe since his son also worked as a neophyte reporter from one of the TV stations in the Philippines.
