Vice Pres. Jejomar Binay Tops the Latest Businessworld/SWS Survey Results

Vice President and presidential candidate Jejomar Binay tops the latest results of the nationwide survey conducted by Businessworld and Social Weather Station last January 2016. According to Businessworld the latest presidential preference survey was conducted last January 8-10, 2016.

Based upon the survey results Vice Pres. Binay ranked No. 1 in the survey by scoring 31 percent out of the 1,200 respondents from different parts of the Philippines.

Before the Vice President ranked No. 1, he was statistically tied at first place with Sen. Grace Poe after both of the presidential candidate got 26 percent last December.

In the latest survey of the SWS, Sen. Grace Poe whose popularity caught a media frenzy decreased her ratings with 2 percentage points, from 26 percent last December to just 24 percent in January. She is now statistically tied with Mar Roxas with 21% while the most popular candidate on social media, Mayor Duterte ranked third with 20%.

Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago on her part ranked fifth in the Presidential preference survey as she got only 3 percent support while former ambassador Roy Seneres got 0.1 percent support.

The survey has sampling error margins of ±3% for national percentages and ±6% each for Metro Manila, Balance of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
