The former “bad boy” of Philippine cinema, action star Robin Padilla has returned to the Kapamilya Channel, ABS-CBN two years after he left his mother network. The action star revealed that part of his latest contract with ABS-CBN is a television series where he will take on a father role.
The 46-year-old Robin Padilla also revealed that the Kapamilya Channel requested him earlier to have a project that is very much suitable to his age, but right now he don’t want to give further details with his latest project with ABS-CBN and to whom he will be working with.
Although the actor hasn’t done any projects with the Kapamilya Channel for the past few years, Robin Padilla said that he always considered himself a Kapamilya.
The actor was quoted as saying “Hindi ako umalis ng ABS. Ako ay nananatiling Kapamilya mula nang lumabas ako ng kulungan hanggang sa mga oras na masasabi nating nagpaalam ako. Saan mang lupalop ako napunta, ano mang istasyon, naka-report ako lagi sa mga matataas na boss natin kung ano ang ginagawa ko, kung ano ang gagawin ko,” he said.
Robin Padilla was also grateful that his wife is now working with ABS-CBN, the same station that honed her skills and the one who was instrumental on her TV career, as a host and actress.
