Jose Manalo Credits “Sacrifices & Persistence” After “Walk of Fame” Recognition

Kapamilya comedian and veteran TV host Jose Manalo credits his own “sacrifices and persistence” after he was named as one of the newest member of the country’s popular “Philippine Walk of Fame.” The recognition and unveiling of the newest members of the Walk of Fame was held on Tuesday night, December 1, 2015.

In an exclusive interview with GMA-7’s news and current affairs program “24 Oras” the 49-year-old Wally Bayola told reporter Nelson Canlas, that he was so overwhelmed with the achievement on his career as part of the recognized list of artists having their own stars in Eastwood City.

The actor also thanked those people who made his recognition possible “Salamat po, salamat. Masaya, masayang masaya po. Salamat po kay Kuya Germs at sa lahat ng bumubuo nito maraming maraming salamat po na nabigyan din ng ganitong award ‘yung mga komedyante kagaya namin. Maraming maraming salamat po.” he stated.

The Philippine Walk of Fame intitiated by Kuya Germs is considered as one of the tourist spot in Metro Manila. In this year’s recognition, German Moreno revealed new artists who will be having their own stars in the Philippine version of the popular Walk of Fame in Hollywood.

Wally Bayola made a name for himself in the entertainment industry but the big break he got was in the popular KalyeSerye segment of Eat Bulaga! wherein he portrayed a total of four roles such as Lola Tinidora, Gasgas Abelgas, Frankie A. Arenoli and Frankie’s father, and Don Francisco “Franing” Arenoli.
