Viral Video: Angry Motorists Honk Their Horns to Protest APEC Traffic Rerouting

A viral video currently circulating online featuring how some angry motorists showed their frustration with the national government as they honk their horns as a sign for protest for the failed APEC rerouting scheme in the streets of Metro Manila.

The video which was posted on social media and went viral online was first posted by a certain John Paul Suba on late Monday night. The video was taken in EDSA Pasay Rotunda as angry motorists stuck in traffic and out of frustration they honk their horn simultaneously.

The honking of the angry motorists happened during the time when a convoy of APEC delegates easily passed by through a special lane provided for them.

The 3-second video already garnered more than 280,000 views on Facebook and received numerous negative comments among netizens who saw the viral video.

Aside from the problems faced by some motorists in Metro Manila, netizens particularly commuters who were working in Metro Manila areas also bent their frustration online after countless commuters were forced to walk long distance just to reach their respective destinations.

  1. The government should give the workers an emergency holiday or absent with pay. They walk long distance to go to work, because they don’t want to lost their job. Miscalculation of the government or maybe they just don’t care about the hard working Pilipinos. Typical
