A viral photo of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte dining with one of the country’s most powerful man in the business world, San Miguel Corporation President Ramon Ang is currently making the rounds online. The said photo was first posted on social media by a certain Atty. Karen Jimeno.

Due to the photo of the the 70-year-old Mayor Duterte and businessman Ramon Ang of San Miguel Corporation, one of the country’s largest conglomerates, netizens speculated that the hesitant presidential candidate is now preparing for his candidacy.
Some netizens even noted that with the viral photo, it seems that the tough-talking Mayor of Davao City already decided to run for President and just looking for some signs as what he stated earlier that he might run for President if he could get the much-needed funds.
Although the viral photo was seen by many of his supporters as a good sign that Mayor Duterte will eventually run for President, some netizens also warned that Mayor Duterte should not make a closer contact with some businessman because it might be taken negatively by is supporters which many netizens agreed.
