NU & UST Secured Twice-to-Beat Advantage in the Final Four of the UAAP Volleyball

The National University (NU) Women’s Volleyball, the depending champion of last season’s UAAP volleyball competition secured a twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four of the 78th UAAP girls volleyball tournament alongside the University of Sto. Tomas (UST).

Both NU and UST dominated their respective opponents in the UAAP girls volleyball held at the Adamson University Gym as the Lady Bullups tripped the University of the East, 25-15, 25-22, 25-14, while the Junior Tigresses beat La Salle-Zobel, 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

The National University posted its 10th win in 11 matches and virtually clinched the No. 1 rankings in the semifinals, while the UST is in second place with 9-2 record.

The Junior Lady Spikers remained at third spot with a 7-4 card and will face the Junior Tigresses in the Final Four slated next week. On the other hand, the Junior Warriors fell to 5-6 in fourth place, UE needs to beat La Salle-Zobel in the final day of eliminations to clinch the remaining semis berth of the UAAP Girls Volleyball competition.
