Amy Vachal Made it to “The Voice US” Blind Auditin (Video)

Filipina singer Amy Vachal made headlines in the United States as she went through the blind auditions of the ninth season of “The Voice USA.” The audition piece of the young Filipino singer was aired on Monday (Tuesday in Manila), she performed the classic “Dream A Little Dream of Me.”

The 26-year-old Amy Vachal, who is based in Brooklyn, New York showcased her singing prowess during the blind audition and made a total of three judges to turn for her during the blind audition.

Judges Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams turned for the Filipino singer Amy Vachal during the blind audition. Although Adam Levine did not turn for Amy Vachal, he agreed that the young singer is an exceptional talent.

“My team is full. Otherwise, I would have turned around first because not only am I sad that I didn’t get to turn around for you but you could win this whole thing,” Levine said.

The young Filipino singer Amy Vachal eventually decided to join Team Pharrell and will move on to the next round of the competition, featuring the best singers in the United States and from different parts of the world.

According to reports from Cebu media, Vachall is the niece of Cebu Representative Gwendolyn Garcia.
