Veteran actor and sportsman Richard Gomez won the much-coveted gold medal at the first-ever Asian Master’s Fencing Championship held at the PhilSports Complex in Pasig City. The confirmation of Richard Gomez sports achievement was announced by the actor through his official Facebook Page.
The 49-year-old Richard Gomez is considered as one of the Filipino fencer who represented the Philippines in various international competition. He previously competed for the Philippines in the Southeast Asian Games and the Asian Games.
Richard Gomez announced through his official Instagram account that the Philippines won two individual gold medal at the 2015 Asian Master’s Fencing Championship won by Foil Fencer Leny Reyes and himself as an Epee fencer.
The veteran actor also thanked his supporters and fans for the continued support on his endeavors in sports. He also give thanks to his lovely wife Lucy Torres Gomez.
