VP Binay Reacts to Aquino’s Sisters’ Fallen Support

Following his “True State of the Nation Adress” on Monday, Vice-President Jejomar Binay confirmed Tuesday that he is aware of the reports that the sisters of President Aquino will not endorse his presidential bid in 2016.

Binay said he respects the decision of the Aquino siblings of not supporting him in the coming election.

The vice president, who is thrown with corruption allegations, said he will always have a debt of gratitude to the late President Corazon Aquino for appointing him OIC of Makati after the EDSA People Power revolution.

Aquino siblings, Pinky and Ballsy have earlier said the family will not support Binay after he criticized President Aquino’s administration as “manhid” and “palpak.”

Meanwhile, Binay again reiterated his against for the passage of anti-political dynasty law to which President Aquino hoped to be passed.

He noted that the law should not suppress a person who is capable of serving the people adding the public should be given the choice to vote for their leaders.
