For surfers, ocean is their playground and the big waves are their playmates. No matter how risky it would turn out for spectators, surfers and big waves seem to play well with each other.
But sometimes this doesn’t go well as expected.
Big waves might be nightmare too for surfers especially when they fell out of control while being lashed by it.
Niccolo Porcella, 27, has been surfing for like whole his life but this did not guarantee him of surfing safe across the giant wave.
In this video, Porcella misjudged the timing of the giant waves and fell of his board.
What made the next scene more terrifying is when he was dragged under water for a couple of times.

The surfer told media after he resurfaced that it was the “most violent thing” that happened to his surfing life.
“I was bounced, pin-balled on the reef, the whole nine yards. Just up and over and up and over,” he said.
Teahupoo is in the south west of Tahiti and is most visited as a popular surfing destination.
