However, Binay assured his supporters fight is not over yet.

“Hindi ko na kayang tiisin na may masasaktan pa…kaya ako’y pansamantalang bababa sa aking puwesto. Pero hindi pa tapos ang laban,” he said.

Binay earlier asked for a temporary restraining order (TRO) from the Court of Appeals but eventually failed adding howver, that the CA is not denying it either.

Meanwhile, Binay thanked all the supporters who gathered around the Makati City hall since Monday.

DILG secretary Mar Roxas then thanked Binay for stepping down from his office adding operations in the Makati City hall will be back to normal.

Binay pressed that the decision of the ombudsman was influenced by politics which was denied by Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales.
