Veteran Kapamilya drama actor John Lloyd Cruz revealed during an interview with ABS-CBN that there’s a plan for a movie project with his former on-screen love team Bea Alonzo. For the past few months, the Kapamilya actor was never featured in a romantic comedy movie, there’s even rumors that the actor has gotten tired of doing projects.
The 32-year-old John Lloyd Cruz denied the rumors circulating online that he has gotten tired of doing projects under the genre that catapulted his prominence in the entertainment industry.
During an interview with ABS-CBN, he was quoted as saying “Actually, ang dami kong naririnig na ganyan, but it’s a big misconception. Kasi I never stopped wanting to do rom-coms,” he told ABS-CBNnews.com and other entertainment press on the set of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” in Bataan on Thursday.
John Lloyd Cruz also revealed that there are plans for a movie project featuring him and his long-time on-screen partner, Bea Alonzo. Aside from doing movie projects with Bea Alonzo, he also revealed that he will be featured in TV shows for ABS-CBN.
Before the highly anticipated movie with Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz is currently busy taping his scenes for his “MMK” comeback episode which will be aired this coming Saturday, June 27. The MMK episode is also his reunion project with his former leading lady in the popular “Tabing Ilog,” show which was popular during their teen days.
