The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the official entries of this year’s highly anticipated Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) featuring some of the country’s most popular stars showcasing their artistic abilities in the Philippines most popular movie festivities during the Christmas season.
Veteran stars such as Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Vice Ganda, Vic Sotto, Robin Padilla and other stars will take center stage in this year’s MMFF.
The MMFF Executive Committee already released this weekend the eight films which will grace theaters nationwide starting on December 25, 2015 or during the Christmas Day.
Here’s the Eight Official Entries of the MMFF 2015:
1. Beauty and the Bestie – Vice Ganda & Coco Martin
2. Nilalang (The Entity) – Robin Padilla & Maria Ozawa
3. Mr. & Mrs. Split – Kris Aquino & QC Mayor Herbert Bautista
4. Rom-Comin Mo Ako – Vic Sotto & Ai-Ai delas Alas
5. Death and Senses – Rayver Cruz & Jason Gainza
6. Haunted Mansion – Janella Salvador, Mario Mortel & Jerome Ponce
7. Hermano Puli – Aljur Abrenica, Enzo Pineda & Alessandra de Rossi
8. Walang Forever – JM de Guzman & Jennylyn Mercado
According to MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino, the head of the MMFF Executive Committee, this year’s line-up will cater to everyone, from young to adult, and those who are into historical, drama and comedy movies.
Aside from the eight official entries of the MMFF 2015, the committee also named two films, “Conman” starring John Lloyd Cruz and directed by Erik Matti; and Jeffrey Jeturian’s “Lakambini” featuring Lovi Poe as reserve movies for the highly anticipated MMFF 2015.
