PAGASA noted that the LPA is embedded along the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) across Visayas. The weather bureau also clarified that the LPA has a low chance of intensifying into a Tropical Cyclone, unless it gains strength while over the sea.

The areas of MIMAROPA, Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate rains and thunderstorms due to the Low Pressure Area in Mindanao.

Metro Manila areas and the rest of Luzon, will also experience isolated thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
