Facebook user Le Ann Gella drew the ire of netizens following her controversial post on Wednesday criticizing students from various prominent universities in Iloilo.
The post became viral as the distasteful remarks against students from John B. Lacson Maritime University, Central Philippine University, University of San Agustin, West Visayas State University and University of Iloilo made rolls on the social media.
The account, however, came out as fake.
Certain Le Ann Arrojado Gella, a student of Colegio dela Purisima Concepcion, then came out airing her side insisting it wasn’t her who made the post but a poser who tried to destroy her reputation.
According to report, Gella said she has been receiving “abusive” messages that now distracts her studies.
In a Facebook post, she defended herself against the poser and explained her innocence regarding the controversial post.
As of posting, her explanations then received encouraging comments from friends and supporters.
