CAMARINES Sur- A soldier held 31 people as hostages inside a bus in Barangay Comadaycaday, Del Gallego, Camarines Sur Friday.
According to the initial reports, Army Corporal Rene Prajele held the Penafrancia bus with plane number TYZ 380 after he boarded from Sorsogon.
Senior Superintendent Walfredo (–foul word(s) removed–)illos, CamSur police provincial office director, said Prajele is in full battle gear with an M16 rifle, caliber 45 pistol and hand grenade.
Town mayor Lydia Abarientos and 902nd Army Brigade Col. Amador Tabuga are now working on the scene negotiating with Praleje.
Meanwhile, traffic jammed at the highway. Motorists are now advised to take the Maharlika Highway at Camarines Norte as the negotiation is on going.
