Philippine Azkals 23-Man Lineup for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Released

The Philippine National Football Team, Philippine Azkals already released their official 23-man line-up for the highly anticipated 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers which will start next month. The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) annonced on Monday the strongest 23-man Azkals who will represent the country in the qualifying round of one of the world’s most popular sporting events, the World Cup.

Coach Thomas Dooley picked the strongest 23-man Azkals roster composed of overseas-based returnees and recruits apart from the local-based core for the country’s representation in the two scheduled matches of the Azkals in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Filipino-European players such as Neil Etheridge, Stephan Schrock and Javier Patiño, who is currently playing in China will join the Azkals forces composed of Kevin Ingreso, Stephan Palla, Iaian Ramsay and Luke Woodland who are expected to make their debut with the Azkals.

The Philippine Azkals international squad will link up with the Manila-based standouts led by Phil Younghusband and skipper Rob Gier as they scheduled to host the Bahrain national football team in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers opener on June 11, 2015 at the Philippine Stadium in Bulacan.
